Breach
This was a good movie. I was there at the Hoover building right after they arrested Hansen.
I was working for CIS Computer Crimes group building their new system to build all their case information. And the hallways, the courtyard, the building, everything looked perfect to me. But then again I was only in one of three rooms ever discluding the cafeteria and bathrooms. From what I gathered when I was there the movie was right on target. The group I was working for was building the post-arrest case against him. The “sort” through all the evidence and organize it better for the courts type stuff. I couldnt see what they were doing ever. But they sure as hell watched what I did closely to make sure I was not doing anything wrong. Including at random times picking up my laptop that I was working from and seeing what I was doing on it. It wasnt connected to anything of the FBI’s but the power outlet. No network, no phone, nothing. Were they paranoid? maybe just slightly but I dont think it was out of the realm of “normal” for them. They guys I worked with would always apologize saying that they had to do it. Didnt bother me any. All I would ever have open was the design workbook for the computer system I was building for them (so I did it correctly to the install spec), various documentation from Sun (I was working for them at the time) or documentation from Vertias on NetBackup. The only other app I would bring up is VIM so I could take notes. Yes it was VIM on Windows! Now that I have diverted from the posting a little. I would recommend it. It is a big shoot-em up type like the Die-Hards? no way. But it is a mental movie (as in it requires you to think and not as in a mind job). See it. If you dont see it in the theatres, see it via NetFlix.
