FUSE has come to the Mac.

Some people over at google have released MacFUSE. Which is great since we can get more and more filesystem on the Mac. The first one was SshFS and the second is SpotlghtFS.

You might be thinking what so great about this. the SshFS filesystem allows you manipulate the files on a remote system like it is local files. All these files are copied/used over an SSH connection.

Secondly the SpotlightFS gives use a better way to make smart folders that can be used via the CLI and any other tool/app on the system. Not just in the finder.

This is way cool, but I still havent loaded it.. maybe this weekend….
