I did not get to see the family on my birthday, so I got my presents on friday. Not a big deal for me.

this is part II of Happy Birthday to Me!

I only got a few gifts from the parents. I did not ask for anything but you know the parental units, they must always give you something. Mom gave me somethings for the kitchen/grilling. Which was way cool. Not expected since I knew about my other gift.

My father got the great idea that I needed a speaker system for my iPod. I have one of the 20gig 4th Gens. My dad looked at both the Bose SoundDock and the Apple iPod HiFi systems and let me choose. So I went to the local Apple store and played with both of them. Neat thing about the Apple store is they let you play with not only their products (which of course they want you to buy) but with competing products as well (that are compatible with their products). For instance they sell not only their own office suite (iWork) but Microsoft’s too. After much playing around I decided I liked the Apple one better. So that is what the parents’ got me for my birthday. Yeah they did go way overboard again.
